Using dapps on the tEVM
Interacting with dapps on the tEVM
Interacting with dapps on the tEVM is the same as with other Ethereum-based networks (Ethereum, BSC).
In a nutshell, you simply...
In a nutshell, you simply...
- Go to the dapp
- Connect your wallet using Metamask
- Sign the transactions as you normally would
There are hundreds of dApps and they are continuously upgrading, so it would be impossible to walk you through each one. We'll use a token swapping dapp running on the Telos testnet EVM as an example to guide you through the steps listed above.
Before you start you will need:
A tEVM account which is already funded with TLOS.
If you have not created and funded your tEVM account, you would need to do that first!
Example: Token Swapping dapp (testnet)
- Go to the site
-
Connect your wallet. Supported wallets: Anchor, Metamask or Wallet Connect. (In this example we are signed in with Anchor - which uses tEVM address linked to your native Telos account).
-
Select the tokens you want to swap. In this case TLOS to CAKE tokens.
It's as simple as that!
In a nutshell, you simply...
- Go to the dapp
- Connect your wallet using Metamask
- Sign the transactions as you normally would
